Ducks in the channel

Earlier in the morning, when the tide was high, the ducks were preening on my neighbor's dock. This is a couple of houses down from us so it's highly cropped.

Later, right before the sun started going down, they headed closer to my house and started bathing under my next door neighbor's dock. The tide was really low and you can see the oyster beds on the sea wall.

Then they see me and head over to my dock looking for a handout. This family (or several families) have been hanging out in our channel since they were babies.

  1. so cute! do you feed them or let them forage on their own?

  2. Looks like the ducks are part of your fanclub. They will pose for you as long as you bring them treats. Great captures, Dina!

  3. They're adorable.
